touch for the train
|Some beautiful things in this city
look strong and unchanging. And if these unchanging things happen to change, I
feel that some mistake has been made, and the film has broken down. |
At such moments I think of the words of the Dalai Lama:
A flowering tree sheds its leaves in Autumn and bares itself. Beauty changes into ugliness, youth into age, and error into virtue. Things do not remain the same and in reality nothing exists. This is why seeming and emptiness exist at the same time.
It helps a little. But really only a little.
